New Telugu e-Books just a clock away

Telugu e-books (electronic books) and e-magazines are now a click away and they are free too. A new website www.vikasadhatri.org offers all kinds of Telugu e-books for free downloading.
To start with, there are ten e-books on various developmental issues like consumer rights, citizen charters, Panchayat Raj Act, role of panchayats in implementation of National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, besides welfare schemes of state and central governments. Some books on history and travelogues are also included.According to Vikasa Dhatri director Gali Udaya Kumar, all kinds of books like stories, poetry, plays, compilations of essays will also be added soon.
Vikasa Dhatri has developed a section for Telugu e-magazines. Small and medium print magazines will be converted as e-magazines and offered for free downloads in this section so that the readers can read them offline at leisure. He said the website was also developing directories of Telugu journalists and writers. Those interested may log on to the site for downloading the required forms.
