GITAM online tests from April 16 Friday, 26.02.2010, 10:32am (GMT+5.5)
GITAM University, which has the deemed university status is conducting an online entrance test for admission to B. Tech, B. Pharmacy, BBM, M. Tech, M. Pharmacy, MCA, MBA, MHRM, PGADRIM and M.Sc. Management programmes from April 16 to May 5 in 15 centres across the country .
Applications can be had from select branches of Union Bank of India, Axis Bank and Indian Bank and it can also be downloaded from the website www.gitam.edu. The last date for receipt of application forms is March 15.University Vice-Chancellor G. Subrahmanyam said about Rs. 2.5 crore will be given as scholarships to people who top the admission test and this will include total fee waiver. Admissions will be based on merit following the rule of reservation.
Explaining about the new programmes, he said the university is starting M. Pharm. programme with four specialisations—pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical analysis and quality assurance, pharmaceutical chemistry and pharmacology.
