 At the Daksha Sportathon –their annual sporting event, the teachers managed to strike the balance as they reinforced multiple concepts to the children in a fun way as the children raced it out. The kindergarteners ran to identify the colours in the Colour Race, dressed up as fruits and picked their favourite fruit in the Fruit Race, became the mama animals and learnt to identify their young ones in the Find My Young One Race, practised gross motor skills in the Sack Race and revised their prepositions by going over , under and through the obstacles in the Obstacle Race. The children exhibited their control over body and mind in their yoga presentation while the Sun flower drill and the Pom-pom drill showed a synchrony of physical exercise and peppy music.
