CITY-BASED designer Vinita Pittie represents the flavour of Hyderabad at Bridal Asia and this year, like always, her collection would draw eyes, sighs and infinite cravings for more.
"My collection would feature blouses, saris, odhnis and kurtis," Vinita said. "It is basically mix-and-match where the clothes are versatile, ornate and interesting. The theme, as always, is traditional Indian with a contemporary slant.
The clothes have a festive look but also include clothes the bride could use in her trousseau." "There is nothing in the cut or embroidery that you can define as Hyderabadi but my collection would definitely have a Hyderabadi undertone."
Vinita has included accessories for the first time including "crystal (Austrian, Japanese) encrusted lac bangles, lac earrings and hair ornaments and silver anklets."
That is quite a repertoire from one who does not wish to limit herself!
