Gizmo fatigue
Wednesday, 28.03.2007, 10:01am
A business magazine
lists a few "must-have" gadgets of the year. Having eyed some of the
objects of desire (mp3 player/iPod/plasma screen television) for while
now, you decide it's time to take the plunge. Your wallet is lighter by
a few thousand rupees but it hardly matters.

gladden the heart of both the aesthete and the animal lover. Aptly
named `Ahimsa silk", the material is obtained through compassionate
means. The silkworm when it turns into a moth, is allowed to break free
from the cocoon and fly away.

Divine intervention
Tuesday, 27.03.2007, 09:54am
There is definitely no
shortcut to success - hard work is the only way out. But as the exam
days near, one really cannot escape the tension. And what better way to
find solace than in God. So, students are making trips with friends and
classmates to popular religious places in and around the city to please
the Almighty and seek His blessing for the exams. The Goddess Saraswati
temple in Basar, Chilkur Balaji temple and the Church of Muthangi in
Medak seem to be some of the hot spots.
