Barista commences its
10th anniversary celebrations across all the stores in the city. The
fest will feature fun activities,contests,promotions,unveiling of logo
and lots more!
The latter half of 2009 saw two
groups competing with each other, promising to organise ‘fashion weeks'
in the city, which were called off eventually. So, when finally there's
a Hyderabad Designer Week, one expected it to do its bit to showcase
the city's growing awareness for fashion.
Think of the intrinsic Indian
experience and street food has to be a part of it. The food of the
streets can define the city you're in, whether it's vada pav in Mumbai
or spicy sundal in a newspaper cone on Chennai's Marina Beach.
Hyderabad throws up an eclectic range of sweets and savouries on the
street, so the Hyderabad Street Food Festival should have had plenty of
scope.
The US Public Affairs
dept in Hyderabad, in association with the film club Moving Images, is
conducting a film festival ‘Yellow Frames' celebrating Indian-American
crossover cinema. On February 20, watch Chandni's Choice at 3 p.m.;
