Enthralling musical fest

Panthula Rama of Vizag, who opened the three-day festival of
Nada Prabha, stole the show with a wonderful vocal concert. Disciple of
Ivaturi Vijayeswara Rao renowned for making great singers from the
coastal belt, Rama revealed excellent vocal verve that has enviable
vocal compass. Her sarvalaghu akaaras were fast and clear.

Nada Bharati featured
Komanduri Seshadri's vocal at its new venue Sampradaya Sangeetha
Niketan at SBH colony, Gaddiannaram. He modified his performance with a
bit of demonstration trying to teach the traditional system of
presenting a concert.

The management
committees of Sree Sankara Matham (of Kanchi Kamakoti Maha Samsthan)
led by its secretary Susarla Suryanarayana Murty along with D. Bhaskara
Murty, secretary of the 64 -year -old Sri Vijaya Thyagaraja Sangeetha
Sabha, organised a four-day fete of music followed by Thyagaraja
Aaradhana at the premises of Sankara Matham from last Wednesday.

Sankeertana Sudha, a group
singing programme conducted by Modumudi Sudhakar, came as a fine treat
in Gayaka Sarwabhowma Sangeeta Parishat festival on the third day. The
group consisted of M. Sudhakar, Anjana Sudhakar, Ivaturi Sravanti, K.
Lavanya and M. Srutiranjani.
