After Pune, Baroda, Kolkata and Mumbai, INOX Leisure has tied up with the GVK Group in Hyderabad for a multiplex in the GVK One Mall.
The GVK One is an international standard shopping mall being constructed by the Rs.2, 000 crore GVK group, which has a presence in hospitality, infrastructure, biotech and power sectors. Mall is located in an area of 14,500 square yards on Road No. 1 of the posh Banjara Hills.
The mall is being developed on the lines of prestigious Suntec City mall in Singapore with an investment of Rs.60 crore, exclusive of land value. The mall has been designed by D P Architects who have provided architecture for several other shopping malls in Singapore and Kaula Lampur.
The GVK ONE has over 300,000 square feet of built up area and comprises 3 Major anchors - a 20,000 square feet supermarket (lower ground), a 6-screen multiplex (third floor) to be operated by INOX, and a 60,000 square feet Shoppers' Stop - the leading fashion cum departmental store chain. Besides these, there are spaces for mini/junior anchors, a food court, F&B outlets and about 90 specialty retail outlets with a strategic trade & tenant mix. To support the customer inflow, 5 levels of basement with over 300,000 sq.ft of space are dedicated to parking, with a capacity of over 800 cars.
