3 firms in APIIC deal have neta backing

At least three of the 13 companies under the scanner for dubious land dealings with the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) are promoted by politicians. According to highly-placed sources, Bhuviteja Enterprises (India) Pvt Ltd, Prakruthi Infrastructure & Development Company Ltd and Mack Solutions Inc were allotted APIIC land in the Nanakramguda IT Park, in violation of the government agency's rulebook, because of their alleged 'connections' in the government.

The AP Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) land scam took a new turn on Tuesday with the special court dealing with Anti- Corruption  Bureau (ACB) cases directing the director general of the bureau to probe the role of three officials and the allotment of land to 13 companies, including the Emaar group, by the state government agency.
