area, this little joint is most popular for takeaway. What sets it
apart from the many similar 'darshini' restaurants is that you pay the
same price but get great value for money because the food here is
excellent, morning after morning.

Tandoor 'N' Fry

A small take-away
joint, much like Hyderabad House, Tandoor 'N' Fry is a big hit in the
Diamond Point area with the families and bachelors of the
neighbourhood. Unlike HH though, T'n'F has only one branch and no
dine-in section to speak of. But for lovers of good food, this isn't
really a problem, especially since the place also delivers home. And
the name doesn't even begin to cover the range of dishes you'll find
here.

PVS Pan Mahal

Although this place is
not exactly as hectic as Paradise across the street, for a certain kind
of summer ecstasy you have to visit Pan Mahal. They have the best ice
golas in town. Okay, given the tough competition in this category, if
not the best, then definitely up there.

Peshawari

The Peshawari is a
rather unusual place. If you are keen on hearty meaty dishes, head
straight for this restaurant. You will walk into a large chamber with
pale stoned-lined walls, deep crimson flagstones, wooden uprights,
strung-bead screens, rough hewn furniture and copper utensils,
suspended from the ceiling and adorning little niches.

Punnami

Punnami is on that
curve of the road as you turn from Necklace Road to the Tank-Bund
stretch. There's no flashing neon sign announcing its presence, no food
festivals to draw in the crowds and no 'lake-view' promised (or
provided). Visit it though, and you're in for a pleasant surprise.

Pick 'N' Move

This one is big-time.
A major landmark on the Himayathnagar Main Road, Pick'N'Move has an air
of having been around forever, despite its latest makeover. Popular as
a hangout spot and a big attraction for sundae-lovers everywhere, this
joint is great for a mid-shopping break or a treat after college.
