As part of the museum day celebrations, the Salar Jung Museum is holding Rangoli competitions between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on January 12 for girls of various age groups between 8 years and 20 years, a release said. As part of the museum day celebrations, general public will be allowed a 50 p.c. concession on entry fee between January 8 and 14. Details on: 2452-3211.
Plans for an Environment Science museum

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has decided to tie up with the Ahmedabad-based Centre for Environment Education (CEE) for setting up an Environment Science Museum near Hussainsagar at Lumbini Park here.
