Lumbini Park is located near the Tank Road, adjacent to the Hussain Sagar Lake in Hyderabad, India. The Lumbini Park has been named after the birthplace of Buddha and it lies just opposite a famous Buddha statue. Raymond's Tomb was built in the memory of the brave French General Michel Joachim Marie Raymond (1755 - 1798 AD). He joined as an ordinary soldier in the service of the ruling Nizam of Hyderabad.
