Aquarium complex near Mir Alam Tank planned

The historic Mir Alam Tank close to the Nehru Zoological Park would get an aquarium complex showcasing the marine life found around the Indian subcontinent and major rivers of the country. A project being initiated by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA), the proposed facility would have around 2,000 fish/sea animals covering at least 200 species of the subcontinent apart from an equal mix of species from other parts.
Jinxed museum to be thrown open

Three decades after its construction, the museum on the premises of Department of Archaeology at Gunfoundry will be inaugurated on Wednesday for exhibiting its collection of antique objects of pre-historic period.

Music and dance ballet lovers of Hyderabad experienced a rare treat during the first ever performance of Navoi Bolshoi troupe at Shilpakalavedika on Wednesday, who performed the famous novel Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes. This is the first time that the 110-artistes’ troupe performed the Russian Bolshoi ballet in twin cities.
